Steve Elgar says
“It’s time
to get things done!”
Time for Affordable Health Care: As president of the Partners in Care Clinic,
Steve has helped over one thousand people obtain affordable health care, while saving your tax dollars by preventing expensive visits to the emergncy room paid with indigent care funds.
Steve will work to help small businesses and the self-employed obtain affordable health care.
Time for
Good Roads: As chairman of a taxing district in his mountain community, Steve
has fixed roads, patched potholes, paved over gravel, and cleaned ditches, without raising taxes.
Time for Clean Water: Steve's been a water guy for 3 decades. It's our due diligence as public servants to look for alternatives to dumping thousands of pounds of harsh chemicals into our lakes and rivers. Not everything will work, but we have to try.
Time for Fair Taxes: Idahoans want taxes to be collected fairly, and spent wisely. However, taxing groceries isn't fair, giving tax breaks to big businesses, like a French nuclear waste company, isn't fair, and billions of dollars in tax exemptions for "special" interests isn't fair.
It's Time
to get things done!
